Use Case Study of Smart Bike Lock for Public Bikes

　　OMNI Intelligent is helping to shape a new global smart bike lock for smart two-wheeled,launching a new era of dockless two-wheeled mobility in tourist areas and city streets.The Public Bike Facility Upgrade Project is a comprehensive dockless upgrade initiative for public bikes in all participating countries.The collaboration between OMNI's smart bike lock and bike sharing app has realized an integrated service of"Public Bicycle+Public Electric Bicycle."

　　Public welfare projects may have a completion phase,but public welfare initiatives are always ongoing.At present,as the wave of dockless upgrades for public bicycles continues and citizens increasingly recognize and rely on two-wheeled travel,a more convenient mode of transportation has become a necessary choice for the public.

　　In response to the urgent need for the upgrade of public bicycle facilities,this rental bikes project will completely renovate all stations in the designated scenic area into"fixed-point dockless"stations,implemented according to the principle of"by region,in batches."These functionalities are achieved by installing IOT-enabled smart bike locks on the vehicles,used in conjunction with the bike sharing app.The smart lock enables secure locking,and any unauthorized movement triggers an alarm,with alerts sent to the business app and backend server for real-time monitoring.

　　A city-wide upgrade for a client includes 456 public bicycle stations,all converted into dockless stations,adding 6,800 new bicycles and refurbishing 1,200 existing public bicycles.

　　Two-Wheeled Integrated Rental and Return

　　Once the project is completed,citizens will be able to rent and return bicycles using a public bicycle RFID card or mobile phone scanning the QR code on smart bike lock or vehicles via bike sharing app (all is integrated completely),with seamless rental and return across the entire city.OMNI is grateful for the trust and recognition from our clients who are using OMNI's smart bike lock.
